Several steps of fermenting cow dung into organic fertilizer

First fermentation
1. First, the cow dung should be dried or drained to keep its moisture content below 85%.
2. Then add carbon auxiliary materials, such as peanut shell powder, sawdust powder, and the ratio of cow dung to auxiliary materials is 8:2, so that the carbon ratio of raw materials (cow dung) and auxiliary materials (straw powder) is controlled at 23-28, and the water content is controlled at 52%-68%.
3. Finally, add the organic fertilizer fermentation decomposing agent. After the raw materials, auxiliary materials and bacterial agents are mixed and stirred, they can be fermented.
The mixed materials are piled into a trapezoidal stack with a bottom width of 1.8-3 meters, a top width of 0.8-1 meters, and a height of 1-1.5 meters, with an interval of 0.5 meters between the stacks. After the materials are stacked, the temperature will rise to above 60℃ within 48-72 hours, and the stacking should be turned after maintaining the temperature for 48 hours.

When turning the pile, it must be even and thorough, and the low-level special materials should be turned into the middle and upper part of the pile as much as possible, so as to be fully decomposed. After the first turn, turn the pile every week. However, when the temperature exceeds 70℃, the heap must be turned over immediately, otherwise the beneficial microorganisms and fermentation bacteria will be killed in large quantities, which is not conducive to fermentation and decomposing.

The stacking height is 2.5-3 meters, and it is fermented for more than 90 days. When the temperature reaches 45℃ and the moisture is 40%, the microbial inoculum or microbial fertilizer functional bacteria are added.
